Ängeholms Aviation Museum
Located at the former F10 air base, you will find Ängelholms Flygmuseum. The museum showcases aircraft ranging from the World War II–era J22 to the modern JAS 39 Gripen. Visitors can sit inside the cockpit of a J 35 Draken or test their flying skills in one of the flight simulators.
The museum also features aircraft engines, aviation safety equipment, air radio and communications systems, meteorology, ground defence displays, an underground command centre, and a “secret” mountain bunker housing a former combat control centre.
With the guidance of an instructor, visitors can experience what it’s like to fly the J 35 Draken or a light sports aircraft in the flight simulator. Younger visitors can also try flying the SK 61 in an authentic cockpit. Please contact the museum if you are interested, as some simulators require advance booking.
The museum shop offers everything from model kits and aviation-themed merchandise to aviation books and radio-controlled aircraft. For opening hours and further information, please visit the museum’s website.
